HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYSON

Yesterday Tyson turned 4 years old. from the very beginning we have called him T-dog or "T" and that is pretty much all anyone calls him now.

He loves anything that has to do with any branch of the military and hopes to one day own a real rocket launcher and his very own tank. Really, he loves anything that is a weapon. I have to laugh at myself because when Blake was little I swore my kids weren't going to play with guns. Yeah right. If there is no toy gun or any other weapon around he uses his finger, a stick, a piece of gum, whatever. Tyson is also very into hunting and is always asking when deer season starts. He wants to shoot every bird he sees and loves when John takes him shooting (BB gun). He loves to camp and play baseball and go to work with John. He is all boy but also loves to hug and kiss us. He knows how to turn on the charm and will talk to anyone who will listen. He thinks he is in charge of everyone and he drives me nuts but we love him! Happy Birthday T-dog!!

Almost Famous

About a year ago I took all the boys to the dentist. While we were there the staff asked if they could take pictures of the boys and use them in their advertising. I said sure and they took a bunch of pictures and I never thought another thing about it.........

This past Saturday Alisa called me and said her brother had seen a dentist's ad at a bus stop and swore it was Tyson. Alisa said he was crazy and I would have told her but that she would call and ask me anyways. It turns out it is Tyson and he is on one of those billboards at a bus stop. We found out where he had seen it and drove over there and took pictures. It is totally random and if I had driven by it I would have never even noticed it was my kid! It also isn't the greatest picture of him so I don't know why they chose it. The older boys we screaming that Tyson is famous now. It was pretty funny. We are now on the lookout for more bus stop posters. If you live in Vegas, keep your eyes peeled!

Jenna's Wedding!

My little sister got married on Saturday. She looked beautiful and it was pretty cool to have all of us together in the temple. Just a warning, I posted a lot of pictures so if you are already tired this post might actually put you to sleep. I also posted everything in reverse order. It's reception, then luncheon, then temple, then the setting up. I of course, did not do this on purpose but once I realized what I did it was too late to turn back. The reception turned out pretty nice and once we all got our babies to sleep it was even better! That would explain why the first picture is of three umbrella strollers. It's all three of our babies asleep and pushed in a corner! The other brilliant idea our husbands had (I'm not even being sarcastic, it was brilliant) was to bring 2 x-boxes and like 7 controllers and they set them up on two different t.v.'s in the nursery so our kids had something to do the whole time. We had to be there at 6 and then clean up after so we didn't leave till almost 11. It made things so much easier! Congratulations Jenna and Steven!

The luncheon.......

They were married in the Las Vegas temple and luckily her friends were able to watch all of our kids outside while we were inside. After the sealing we sent the husbands out to wrangle the kids while we changed and visited Jenna in the bride's room. You better believe I took my sweet time getting back out there! Pictures took extra long with all the little kids but here are a few...

On Friday, my sisters and my parents and I set up for the reception. Between us we had 12 kids so we pretty much just locked all the doors to the chapel and let them run up and down the halls. At some point we found a t.v. and Amanda had a Spongebob movie in her car so that, along with some happy meals, got us through the many hours it took to put it together.

Game Ball

John coaches Ryan's baseball team and from the first game he started a tradition of sorts. After every game one person on the team will get the game ball. All the coaches sign it and they write the date and the team they played. The kids love it and it helps motivate them. Last night at Ryan's baseball game, he earned the game ball. He has been trying and trying and he had some great plays and hits last night. He was so excited, he slept with the ball and has carried it around all day. I feel bad because I haven't posted much about his games but it's been hard to get pictures. With John on the field I am left to chase my lovely children alone (picture me holding a squirming, screaming baby while another kid is begging me for snack shack money and the other kid has run off somewhere, which is actually great because it means one less kid bugging me). Anyways, the point is there really hasn't been a good moment to pull the camera out and start snapping...
*** I do realize one of the pictures is of Ryan's back. He insisted on that pose and he thinks it's a great picture of him with his game ball. Hey, I'm just happy to have a picture to remember the event so he can pose however he wants.

Tater

Welcome to my life.....

This is the age that drives me nuts. I love it because he is cute and still can't talk back but Tate is into EVERYTHING! He usually unrolls all the toilet paper but since I was cleaning the bathroom he unrolled the paper towels I was using instead. Speaking of which, I'm not sure why I even bother to clean the bathrooms. The next boy in there is gonna miss the toilet completely... I am seriously considering installing urinals.
Anyways, the kid pulls everything out of my cupboards and drawers and loves to pull all the clothes that I have just folded and put away out of the dresser. It's really great. It adds to the love I feel for laundry days. It's a good thing he's cute or we would have serious problems....
