Who lives in a pineapple under the sea......

Blake is a lego fanatic. Luckily, John's mom saved all of his little brothers legos and gave them to us so we have a ton. Well, Blake subscribes to the lego magazine (free...I'm not that nice...) and they are having a spongebob lego contest (yes, I let my kids watch spongebob and yes, sometimes I even laugh). Anyways, he decided to make spongebob and squidward in tuxedos so here they are. I don't even know what the prize is but he is pretty proud of his creations.

Ugh....

So ya know that commercial for front loading washers and dryers where they say it can fit 16 pairs of jeans and like 12 towels or something? I used to wonder who really had that much laundry at one time. Well people, now I know. It's me.
Only, I don't have 12 towels I have like 30 and I don't just have 12 pairs of jeans. I have shirts, socks, underwear, sheets, jackets, and the list goes on. The point of this story is that I got up and went to the gym at 5 this morning so I would have all day to catch up on my laundry. I am behind by....let's just say....... a lot of days. Anyways, after only one load my washer started leaking. Some rubber piece ripped and then I had to order the new part online and it won't be here for 2 days. Annoying. What's even more annoying (and kinda ghetto) is that John and I are going to the laundromat tonight. I know there are plenty of people who would let me use their washer but I have so much laundry I would have to bring a suitcase and move in for a few days (although I just realized I don't have any clean clothes to put in the suitcase). The laundromat is the only way to get it all done quickly and in two days when it's fixed I'll have to start all over again.
*Disclaimer: I thought about posting a pic of my laundry but then I realized people would see I am not exaggerating about how much laundry I have. Then they would start to wonder what I did all day long. Then they would wonder why I was always in gym clothes since obviously I have plenty of time on my hands.........I'm busy people! I've never even tried a bon bon.

Finally!

Blake has been dying to lose a tooth. He keeps telling me he has a loose tooth but really...it's not. Well, his luck changed last week. We took the boys bowling and after 2 extremely long (and fun) hours we were finished. All we had left to do was return the shoes and the 6 lb bowling ball they give the kids. Blake was carrying the ball to the desk when he dropped it. It bounced back up and smacked him right in the mouth. There were tears and blood. John ran him to the bathroom to clean him up while I returned the shoes and corralled the rest of the boys. I fully expected there to be drama when they returned but to my surprise there wasn't any. John told him that the ball had knocked two of his teeth loose and Blake just kept saying "sweet!" Finally almost a week later after one of the teeth had been hanging by a gross thread he pulled it out. The only thing left is to work out the tooth fairy kinks. Apparently someone at his school said the fairy gives out $2.50 a tooth.......uh....not in our family.........

Oh! and now he keeps telling me I need to teach him how to spit between the hole in his mouth. Who does that? Seriously....who?

Freaking Out!!

I'm not gonna lie people...I am freaking out because people know about my blog. I have actually seen my name on other people's blog list and it is weird! I think when I commented on Alisa's blog my blog came to life....then I figured I guess I should write something........Hmm......... How about a Tyson funny.......
Yesterday T heard me talking on the phone about Heath Ledger dying. When I hung up the phone he asked me who died. I went on to explain about actors, drugs, the word of wisdom and how Heavenly Father and Jesus want us to keep our bodies clean. I was having a very in depth conversation (and by conversation I mean me rambling on and Tyson listening...I think) and when I finished Tyson said,"Mom, I am never ever ever going to do drugs and do you know why?" At this point I was thinking about what a great lesson I had just taught my 3 year old when he says," I will never do drugs because they are way too expensive."
Don't ask me where he got that because that was not part of our conversation and John and I do not sit around talking about the current price of drugs........I swear.....
